History
Laguna Seca, storied ground, transitioned from the Pebble Beach Road Races in the fall of 1957, to the West Coast Professional Races in 1958, through these early years to the United States Road Racing Championship, to Can AM, Trans Am, Formula 5000, IMSA, Indy Cars, Moto GP and in concert with our naming rights partners, Mazda and WeatherTech, Laguna Seca Raceway and the Sports Car Racing Association of the Monterey Peninsula see the positioning of this truly unique race track as one of the premier courses worldwide. Always mindful of her neighbors, Laguna Seca and SCRAMP have provided over $62 Million toward the charitable needs of Monterey County during the first 60 years of operation.
